Congratulations for choosing the most innovative,comprehensive, and distinctive modeling, etiquette, television and film program in the Northeast region.  We are so pleased that you have joined the M.E.T.Program.  We know that there is so much to learn and that you will excel in the program because of the expertise of our staff.  They will make sure you master each and every technique.

 MISSION STATEMENT

Strong Productions is committed to providing a program that will enhance individuals’ self-esteem and self-image in order to improve their quality of life in the community.  This is accomplished through a comprehensive modeling, etiquette, and television workshop, otherwise known as the M.E.T.Program.  It also offers the young, impressionable students an alternative life style, which is designed to help them avoid gangs, drugs, and other juvenile delinquent behaviors.

 

OVERVIEW

The M.E.T. Program  offers a comprehensive curriculum in three areas: (a) modeling skills, (b) social etiquette, and (c) television production.  The strengths of the M.E.T. Program  are:

·        It is comprehensive, with a wide variety of classes such as acting, modeling, and television to expose students to different professions in the entertainment and modeling industry.

·        It is long term, this comprehensive program is offered throughout the year allowing students to perfect their skills both on and off the runway and in television workshops.

·        It is innovative, offering both males and females of all ages a vehicle into the modeling, television, and film industry.

DRESS CODE

Appropriate dress for a M.E.T. student:  LOOK LIKE A MODEL, OR BE PROFESSIONAL!!!!  The entire school and agency will admire you.

  1. Hemlines must not exceed 5” above the knee.  No midriff blouses revealing the tummy.

  1. No skin-tight skirts, shorts, or pants, unless covered with an appropriate top.

  1. No runs in nylons, keep an extra pair with you.  Nylons must ALWAYS be worn.

  1. No wrinkled clothing.

  1. No low cut breast-revealing tops.

  1. Clean well coiffed hair.

  1. Manicured nails, length is optional.

  1. Healthy skin with full model’s makeup at all times.

  1. No stains, hemlines falling out; SHOES MUST BE NEAT.

  1. NO JEANS OR SNEAKERS.

  1. No body piercing.

  1. No uniquely colored hair.

DRESS TO IMPRESS!!!!  We all have our bad days,so lovingly and kindly point out a run in our stockings, slip showing, etc. to make us aware of it, but not in a malicious way.

Adhering to this dress code will prepare you for the world of work and will give you ahead start for being accepted into the M.E.T. Agency.  We must live up to the industry standard!

THIS DRESS CODE IS MANDATORY and you will be graded in your transformation cards.

*Any student wearing jeans or inappropriate clothing will be given a substitute wardrobe for the first offense.  If it occurs again, the student will be sent home for the day.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

The M.E.T. Program  has been divided into three (3) categories:  Modeling,Etiquette, and Television Production. Each category is comprised of eight 30-45-minute sessions.  (Please note that the time may vary depending on the number of participants.)  The cost of the entire program is undisclosed, and can be paid in one of four ways:

1.  Payment in Full:                  Payments that are received prior to the first day    
                                                 of class will receive a 10% discount.

2.  Two Payment Option:          Payments that are made during the first (1) week of
                                                 class will receive a 5% discount. 

3.  Three Payment Option:       Payments that are made in two (2)equal installments
                                                 within the first two weeks of class will not receive a
                                                 discount.

4.  Four Payment Option:         Payments that are made in three(3) equal
                                                 installments within the first two weeks of class will not
                                                 receive a discount.

 

REFUND POLICY

The M.E.T. Program  has a unique refund policy.  If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our service, you may request a refund within the following guidelines:

·        Option 1: 80% Refund                Issued on the first full day of classes only.   
                                                            (However,if you attend the first session 
                                                            Only there will be a $50 charge.)

·        Option 2: 50% Refund                Issued on the second full day of classes,
                                                            if you are not 100% satisfied with the
                                                            program.                                                                     

·        Option 3: No Refund                   No refund will be issued after the second
                                                            full day of classes.

 

CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

1. CHECKING IN:    You must check in at the front desk every time you come to
                             class, even if you are late.

2. ABSENT:            Please call the front desk if you are going to be absent. 
                             When you call,give them your name and class number.  If
                             you plan to be absent, then call the school and let them know at  
                             your earliest convenience.

3. MAKE UP CLASS:  If you need to make up a class, please call Cynthia Strong to
                              make the necessary arrangements.

4. GRADUATION:  You will be informed of your graduation date during the graduation
                           conference.  A graduation information package will also be sent to
                           you in the mail.

5. COATS, ETC.:    Students should proceed to their classroom after checking
                            in and hang up their coats in the classroom.  Remember to take your
                            coat and all personal belongings with you each time you change
                            classrooms.

6. FOOD:               N0 FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON SCHOOL PREMISES
                            EXCEPT IN DESIGNATED AREAS
                            FOOD should be eaten before school or after school.  However,
                            there will be a water bubbler on the premise.

7. VALUABLES:      The M.E.T. Program  cannot be responsible for valuables.  Please
                            keep all belongings with you at all times. We ask that you also
                            respect the belongings of other students.
